I try to live by the philosophy, "travel more, worry less." This guiding principle has led me around the world, from New York to The Netherlands, London to Los Cabos, Sydney to Seattle, and countless places in between.  No matter the destination, I believe there is always something there to discover, to learn and to love.

I've been a travel advisor for nearly eight years, transitioning from a career in science writing and communications. I hold a BA in Environmental Policy from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL, and an MS in Technical Communication North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC.

Favorite Travel Memory?

During a trip to Paris as a child, I lost my ticket to the top of the Eiffel Tower while waiting in line with my family. Panicked and close to tears, I got to the front of the queue and tried to explain my mistake in broken French. The official collecting tickets gave me a stern look, but suddenly her face broke into a wide smile and she said, "Don't worry, be happy!" and waved me through. I will never forget her kindness!
