The Friday after Thanksgiving, many hotels have Christmas tree lighting ceremonies. During the week of Christmas, guests can enjoy special visits from Santa and Mrs. Claus, holiday crafts, special Christmas buffets, and more (activities vary by resort – available only on select dates). Throughout the season, guests can also marvel at their resort’s holiday decorations.
Holidays at the Wizarding World
New for this year, Christmas is coming to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter! Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade will be decked out in their holiday best. Special food and drinks will be available to purchase, and guests can enjoy seasonal performances from Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees and the Frog Choir. After dark, a new projection-mapping show will bring Christmas-inspired scenes to life on Hogwarts Castle.
