Prepare to journey to an all-new land in a galaxy far, far away with Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. These new lands will feature incredible attractions, adventurous encounters, and immersive theming to take guests right into the Star Wars universe. The land will feature two major attractions that will take guests into the middle of a Star Destroyer in a battle between the First Order and the Rebellion in Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, and allow guests to pilot the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy on Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run.
At Walt Disney World, the land will go through a phased opening - on August 29, guests will be able to experience a portion of the land along with the new attraction Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run. The rest of the land and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will open at a later time. On-site resort uests at Walt Disney World will also be able to enjoy the new land during Extra Magic Hours at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
